Wish List Wednesday...and a catch up.

So you may have noticed this didn't happen last week...nor did anything else on this blog for that matter.  I took advantage of the 11 days off and the break flashed by without me even noticing, in fact I can't believe I'm back at work already!

I spent my time catching up with friends and family -  a few days at my parents' house in Somerset, birthday lunches and BBQs, a royal wedding tea party (no tea was consumed...only champagne), picnics in the park, lots of baking and a full day of solo shopping in London...what a treat :)

Here are a few snapshots of my week -

My parents' lovely house (including my idiot father)

So pretty!

Basil - the best dog ever

Lyme Regis - such a lovely day

Friday's tea party - tiaras and excessive cake consumption compulsory!

And now for the wishlist!
Oh My Love at ASOS

Top £35, Jacket £45, Dress £48, Oh My Love at ASOS
A sign of a good brand? When they make you want loads of clothes you have no need for...and this is what Oh My Love has done for me! How often would I wear a lace, tassled sleeve kimono jacket? Or the crop top?  But oh how I want it all!

French Connection Maxi

Shelbys Summer Dress, £155, French Connection
I ADORE this dress and just wish it wasn't priced so highly.  £155 for a polyester dress?  I don't think so.  Fashion gods, make this mine!

So that's it for now - short and sweet! There are a few other pieces that would be on here, except I bought them!  So will do a little post later on this week to show you :)

So what's on your wish list?  And what did you get up to over these bank holiday weekends? Let me know!

  1. Oooh love the lace dress, and definitely the mark of a good brand. ASOS seem to be good at finding those brands and those items.

Also with you on the pricing of a polyester dress. finding it frustrating just at the moment that there are so many items made of synthetics that are over priced right now.

Loving the look of your tea party, wish I'd done something interesting for the wedding now.

  3. @Chloe - ASOS definitely are good at that, they've introduced me to brands I'd never have heard of otherwise. Topshop take note!

We kind of wish we'd gone to Hyde Park now...typical!

@Laura - the cakes were lovely! I love the lace and fringing, slightly wrong but also very right :)
