Lust at First Sight...

£160, Topshop

£136, Daisy Knights at Net-a-porter

£140, Rayban at ASOS

£90, ASOS

£120, Topshop

These are the things that are currently making my pulse quicken and my purse quiver in fear...sadly due to the fact that my shopping fund is not in fact endless, most will remain a dream. I will spend hours contemplating a purchase, stroking them in the shop and drooling over the webpage yet eventually decide that lust is enough and I can sadly live without 6 inch heels or diaphanous gowns. However, the odd item does make its way into my wardrobe and receives all the love it deserves.

So tell me...what are you currently lusting after? And are you like me...or do you give into temptation?

Diet Coke done good

In case you hadn't heard...oh wait, who am I kidding? Of course you've heard Diet Coke are running a promotion with Boots right now - for every two bottles you buy, you get a free Nails Inc nail varnish.

Although I'm not a massive Nails Inc fan (I have a handful of their varnishes and can't seem to get them to work for me at all) I am never one to turn up an offer like this!

I popped into my local Boots today where they had all four colours in stock - New York (fuschia), Paris (purple), Milan (red) and London (taupe). I was drawn between New York (for my toes) and London (for my fingers) but London won out in the end...and I'm glad it did.

The colour went on smoothly and dried fast - much better than my previous Nails Inc offerings which have been streaky and smudgy. The colour is nice and rich, with just enough warmth to avoid the dead fingers look you so often get with nude and greige shades. All in all - a great bargain. I may just be visiting Boots again soon - Diet Coke anyone?

Deja Vu.

Now you may remember me talking about my favourite labels a while back - one of them being Burberry Prorsum.

Their spring/summer 2010 show was full of sugary pastels, draped chiffon and some great variations of their classic trench coats, one of which has been spotted on none other than Victoria Beckham.

Unfortunately it's sell out status (and £2,195 price tag) means it's out of reach for most mere mortals, so when I saw the latest ASOS Black collection (out today) this immediately caught my attention.

It may not be cream but the colour is so reminiscent of the collection as a whole. And as for the draping and the puffed shoulders? Perfect!

Styling wise I'd switch the belt for a one in tough black leather and team with chunky black sandals to offset the sugary sweet colour and style - or wear it open with jeans and a vest for a simple spring look. It's such a statement coat you really don't need to do much.

Burberry s/s 2010 for £100 - where can you go wrong?

NOTD

Barry M in Pale Yellow/Lemon Ice Cream. Another of the new ice cream nail varnishes - yet the jurys still out on this one. It's a vibrant yellow - not quite creamy enough to constitute ice cream - more custard! It took 3 coats to get decent coverage, but after 3 days it's wearing well. So what do you think? Yellow fingers a yes or a no?

Would you, could you....

...wear flowery trousers? I have to admit, I'm kind of liking these...but could I ever pull them off? Not so sure!

If you're brave enough - they're £35 at Topshop.
